Selfless Statesmanship

Tomorrow, Sunday,20th September,2015 will be a date to remember in  a new chapter in the anal of Nepal.
We should be optimist and cautious at the same time for the age of ushering in to a new one.Constitution is only a means not end.For development it is essential but not must.
UK,USA,Japan are countries who have either no constitution, or if is, that is limited in few lines. Its efficacy depends how we have been using it?.
The leaders must be honest if not we have done a mistake.

There are many burning problems ,therefore , we should be more serious than happy.
How to accommodate madhes demands ?Equally there are others groups unattended,they should also get their legitimate rights. One way actions would not reward rather could be counter productive. Suppression is not an answer.
How to manage the state relations with center and render the stipulated objectives?
How to render services to earthquake victims who are most vulnerable to the nature?
How to demonstrate by actions that we are equal to all,no one is more equal?
How to ensure that the pace of economic development is not restricted and there is no place of manipulations.?
How to make a corruption free nation.?
How to stop foreign employment and give job in the country.?
How to renovate and construct the devastated monuments ,pride of nation.?
How to plan that we meet 2022 as a new age of Nepal as developing country?.No more LDC.
How to coordinate with diplomatic communities?
How to address all related challenges ahead properly  ? without that constitution may be termed as coercive document.

I conclude with note that Arms are not solutions -Love is only a means to End.
This country belongs to everyone. Madhesi,Tharu,indeginious people,ehenic group and others  all must be properly presented in the constitution otherwise it would be a lame duck walk.

How to go ahead ?

I have been saying that our country is at a decisive turning which determines the future of the motherland.Constitution has been passed by more than  two third majority,Even it would be requisite for the lasting peace and progress that all disgruntled groups are also  taken together,
Honesty,capability,and hardworking be only the responsibility seekers.
country has many problems ahead and if we ignore these qualities then only we will say sorry and we shall be most unfortunate in this world.
we have to break the vicious circle of LDC before 2022,We can because we have many ressources that need properly utilization and management.

CO-EXISTENCE IS ONLY KEY OF HAPPINESS

After passing more than six decades and countering the life in retrospective and prospective way in the tide of challenging waves it is the realization that how much even we are strong or wealthy we can't enjoy peace and happiness unless we know how to live with others.
And when we say others then we should understand their pain and problem with their values. Either this be NEPAL,SAARC,UN,USA,EU,ASIA,AFRICA,AUSTRALIA or any part of this globe we have to apply it imperatively otherwise be sure war is unavoidable ,war I say because it would be the by product of recession and subsequently Great Depression in near few years.
Better to save the humanity and its civilization we all be civilized sharing the pain and pleasure equitably.
I hope that world's Political and Economic leaders will take it a pre warning stage and behave responsibly. 

Legacy means many things

Past legacy has a serious repercussion on the present affairs of a Nation.We have to learn a lot from the past.If there is a fresh start without looking in to the past means  an earthquake in the life of a country.You may hold for sometime if you are exceptionally strong.But even the so called strong nation also take a  lesson from history and advance.
Foreign and defence policy in this context matter most.We can see some country try to fresh start and making many mistakes which is weakening their strong stand and image.
An advice would be very careful marching in this direction with a guide when you do not know rhe new domain.

Return from the Voter Registration Study Mission

Last night I returned back from the voter registration study mission.I passed eleven days in this work and found possible to do this work with help of all stake holders.Though at a given time to all countries it may not be possible but for a trail basis we can start with some countries.Nepalese working in the gulf countries are encouraged.We should not make delay in this work and do whatever possible in our hands.

Overseas Nepali and Voting Rights

Besides India,we roughly calculate there are 35 lacs Nepalese living abroad and doing their job.Major chunk is in middle east.It is also true that with their remittance country gets about one quarter of GDP and it is also true that they are not given the right of voting in the national election.There are many valid reasons behind it bit whatsoever,they can't be denied.We have to do all possible to give them their right.For this we have to see first how to register them spreads Nepali in the world and then how to manage them to vote?.

To take a concrete step,I am going to visit some gulf countries with  team for about 11 days and suggest then after how to go ahead with a solid plan so that in the future an action could be taken to register their name first and then to allow them for vote in the afterward.

This is a great challenge ,not easy to perform but again whatsoever ,we have to do it abd find a solution possible for the us seeing our capacity.

Congratulations To U -16 Team

Many many congratulations to the Nepal U -16 natinal cricket team who returned to Nepal with a great historical pride.
Government should now plan properly to groom these jwels of the nation.This is the prime duty of the country.All sectors of the society should also welcome this team.They have raised our head up in the international arena.
Keep this spirit up our bhai bhainiharu hami gaurawanwit bhayeka chhaun.

Heartless Behavior

Stunning photos appeared today  in the newspaper  sharping lathi on innocent Nepali who is trying to go abroad after failing to get any work in the country.They are compelled to go out leaving and perhaps selling everything in the country and on return the photo printed today speaks.

Everyday 1500 Nepali are going and everyday 3 dead body of Nepali coming to country in average.Goverment is not capable to help them on the contrary the behavior shown by the police is deplorable.Please understand the situation and love them who are loosing everything for their survival. 

People of Nepal is the first priority of the country

The massive land slides and flood devastation in the Sindhuplanchok region is the great sorrow of our country now.Hundreds lost their lives,thousands houses disappeared.The area is very poor area ,the people living their have nothing to eat and take shelter.They are our brothers and sisters and they are suffering this pathetic way and we ? we are talking in assembly for  five carore allowances,privileges and facility to tour the world for luxury.Is there any moral and official responsibility arise in between? Can we leave them like this? who will look after them? If that happened with us what we would have done?Heart breaks down thinking so?They have no guardian?Today Nepal proves that we lost our guardian?Is it true?Then think if future turns a different way what will happen?
Or we are waiting for this again a friendly country would come forward and take care of our compatriots?
No ! No ! we can not do that.Please for heaven shake immediately take urgent plan and save them.It is our foremost duty.
We all should give one day salary for them to show our unity and sympathy that the nation is with you my dear brothers and sisters.Don,t be discomposed.The natural calamity will go and we can overcome any calamity if we are united.
God bless all of us in this noble mission.

Review of Indian Prime Minister Modi Visit.

I wish to share with you a formula for this visit.Close your eyes and dream a prosperous Nepal and after opening your eyes if you see a cheque blank in front of you then what you will do?.
Let us not be irrational and think in the present time being neutral for our motherland.
Now it is up to us how to use the blank cheque.If we are wise enough we will multiply it if not it is just a piece of paper value zero.

The coming generation will ask us and make us responsible for their ill days ahead.We must use this opportunity and help Nepal growing faster and make Nepalese happier.

Morning Shows the Day

Indian Prime Minister's two days official visit to Nepal is over on the 4thAugust afternoon.We can easily notice a fresh approach from the Government of India to the issues of Nepali discontents.It is appreciable deed no doubt.In the vision of the Prime Minister Modi India's welfare and prosperity in a considerable size is also linked with Nepal.And therefore Nepal should not left undeveloped whereas there are so many natural resources are available in Nepal to be developed.By doing so , Nepal would be a rich and developed country in the region.And moreover by managing the bullet carrier to the ballot box would be other mile stone n the peace process and for other to follow the path for amicable reconciliation.
There is a golden dream ahead no doubt but all that we have to see how we both are applying this formula in the actions.Much depends on actions.
The visit was a great success made by the charismatic Indian Prime Minister.We can see his great vision for this region as a whole.Our best wishes with him.

Take normally - India is our close friend

Indian Prime Minister is coming day after.No excitement-no panic -no tension.Take normally and easily as we handled many important visits in the similar way we do this.But it is also a fact that India is very important for us.Any correct or incorrect action would bear the similar type of fruits.Our diplomatic behavior while dealing with our southern neighbour must be scrupulous keeping in the mind of the national interests and the opportunities in the long term.Nepal and Nepali now should not suffer any more.Being the master of so much treasures in Nepal if we can't run with the pace of the time then we shall only be blamed.

Give and take, and Win win theory would help us in taking decisions.In long term relations somewhere we loose slightly then somewhere we gain similarly.We respect the value of bilateral relations and and show the mangamity from the both sides would be the compromising mantra when no other theories and practices are helpful.We have an unique relation which can never be denied so we have to go accordingly.

I wish a grand success of this visit of Sri Modi ji,Prime Minister of India, and expect a milestone in the bilateral relations

Time Manages if We don't Manage

Yes that's right.If do not obey the nature , nature manages us.This we have seen in our life.And the nature is the great teacher those who learned from it they innovated great discovery and those who just neglected it they are badly punished.
I am this time talking about the BRICS meeting in Brazil.Now we have two financial institutions one for investment and other for the monetary reformatin.Both will lend the developing countries to correct the irregularities in the financial and monetary fields.This has not come automatically but is the reaction of the prejudicial behaviour of the World Bank and IMF.We agree or not the fact is this and this is in existence.
If it goes complimentary to each other then well and good if not that will create a different world.I am wary for this and wish to draw the atrtention of all concerned.
Tomorrow why not to think the weakness of the United Nations which is blamed working in the tune of the powerful countries and thus a new United Nations who works for poor countries and give juse to all those who are not heart.?
I advise to the concerned to take appropriate measure to correct the weakness of those institutions and protect our planet in going to anomaly.It is a challenge to all thi\ose who are handling the world affairs to be alerted and behave in a balanced way whether they are poor,black,LDC or any categories.

Time and Tide wait for None

Water is for the time being a great resource for Nepal.The proper use of it would make Nepal richer in the region no doubt.Therefore we should not be timid in using this resource for any reason unqualified.Business is a name of give and take and also a name of win win game.Chankya while preparing Chandragupta to fight back with the enemy king strongly ordered him because time was ripe to attack and Chandragupta was looking for a fairer chance to attack.Chankya said- O Chandra never waste your time recognise the pulse of time,remember Time and Tide wait for none.
Similarly,in the history of friendship of Nepal India there are many curves going up and down for its own known unknown reasons,wisdom asks us to learn from the past and correct it and at least don't repeat it.

We should try to understand both side feelings and grievances.Koshi and Gandaki were cited unfair practices adopted in the water sharing agreements.if so,we have full time to discuss and counter propose if there is any unsuitable article has been phrased in the proposed Indian agreements.This is open.If some proposal comes then we should not react this way.We produce new idea what we want?and negotiate.

We should not forget that we have wasted five decades and gained zero Penny.In this context,we rather appreciate the feelings that Nepal wants India and India needs Nepal.If a feelings of our vedic relations ,traditional relations,and a strong bonds of socio-economic relations and kept in the Acton no problem can stand in between.We have to work in the spirit of cooperation for each other which eventually pay to either party if it is a success.

We should use wisdom and not allow any unwanted idea in between because this is related with peace and prosperity of our country .Recognize the time and act accordingly,this is only a way to make a Happy Nepal.

Justice for all

It was heart breaking news to read and listen a Malaysian Airline is shot down.After all who and why killed about 300 innocents boarded in the aircraft?.They should be brought to the justice no matter who are they?
But at the same we should be equal to all.We see on the other hand,in Gaza and Israel so many killings ? but we are taking it as it has to be happened? what makes it a news? as if it is nothing important.Don't we think that a great injustice to the people of that region.It has to be stopped.
Everybody has the right to live in peace with dignity and why they have not?
If we don't take it seriously some other order will come to correct it, better the existing world order address it with a compromise for ever.

Are we only spectators?

The tragedy going on in the Gaza and Israel areas are the most unfortunate and irresponsible actions.Please stop it urgently otherwise it would flare up hidden war inside.UN and Security council members must act without delay to save the innocent killings and advert the possible escalation of unpredictable war.
PLEASE READ IT IS NOT ONLY FOR THE MIDDLE EAST BUT FOR THE GLOBE AS A WHOLE.

Love Only Can Win Hate

By killing someone we can't eradicate crime.The crime has a cause that we have to understand the reason after all why this type of crime or violence's are taking place in spite of retaliatory measures taken much stronger?.Retaliation is a revenge that would never pay.Just love your enemy and give something more that what he desires and see next time he will pay you more than you have never seen in your dream.This is true.
And this only a win win way to go.Unfortunately we don't understand this value and believe on our strength.Mind it I repeat mind it your smile will win the enemy than your flexing muscle.
Now see what is happening in Israel and Gaza ?.All the time hate ,attack,killings both sides ,both are taking measures to any action from the either side but the result is more flaring ?? then ? Means this nit the way to handle the problems.First stop attacking each other for  six months and in that time start some programs of better understanding appreciation each other.Then see the miracle result -no side would like to be down -both will come forward to show they are better than other side.
Why to waste time in making West Bank and Gaza in one identity? Let them stay as they like in a system- one be republic and another Islamic Republic. So what- no problem we have seem two Germany unification,Yemen unification and so on.....Time will come and they will realize the reality.They need identity and an independent country ,let them have this and rest leave on future action by the international community positively.I am very sure tomorrow the crisis of midleeast would vapor like air and the sugar would be dissolve in the water without any notice.

Five Carore to CA Members

If five carore are given to CA members means all Nepali should understand now onward there is openly loot tantra.They are the people who could not write the constitution in 4 years and unfortunately the Assembly was dissolved without any delivery.Now they came with a consolidated promise that this time first priority is constitution writing -and what happened now they forgot their promise and came to their real intention they need money nothing else.We all should do our best to stop it and take measures for checking all wrong doings because these people are not committed to the betterment of country but to themselves only.

LOVE NOT HATE

Nowadays we are reading  many news everyday regarding violence.This violence generates by hate in one or another way.Religion is such a phenomena that creates in a natural way a fragrant feelings of love to all.If it fails in doing so means it fails in its objective.Religion should never be a breed of dispute - here we all are failing to understand.In our opinion we promote religion but but for other perhaps we spread hate.Here we have to be careful.Any discussion on the validity of Sai Baba is unwarranted.Society will not accept it.Rather we would go in a black hole of discussion which has no end.

Please stop this type of discussion and respect all religions with a tolerance.Certainly no religion should harm other with a motive.

Happy Birth Day to You Dhurba Dai

We are strange people,We hardly talk about others, and if at all, we talk the negative side of that person.Secondly,we appraise anyone when he dies ,and hardly say good words when he is alive.What a misery?.
Novelist Dr. Dhurba Chandra Gautam is a man who deserves a lot of praise for his contributions to the Nepali literature.His contributions has added the treasure of our language and literature.He is from Birganj,  of course a jewel of Birganj, and a bright start in the horizon of Nepalese literature.
You are very humble to say very simple words for yourself Dhurba Dai-but you deserve more.I am also one who is inspired from your love to poems in Birganj more than 50 years ago.
A VERY HAPPY  70 th BIRTH  DAY TO YOU.MAY GOD BLESS YOU.

Historical Mistake.

Recently a think tank exercise of Indian scholars along with Nepalese on the Indo-Nepal Relations grossly admitted India's foreign policy failure vis-a-vis Nepal.Last year also one high level meeting of the same nature was organized in Delhi for the same purpose.If someone take the pain to see that time what I had  said in the blog as an advice to the Indian leaders that  can explain at large.
Without repeating those  mistakes again,I simply say  we have still time-  India should correct this historical mistake.Situation will come to normal and that would be not only better for Nepal, but for India too, and for the world peace at large.
All we should learn  that by accepting mistakes -we do not become small but a great in the eyes of others.You do not have to say I am great - rather people will say - You Are Great !.

At this moment all Nepalese are thinking after all why we need  the President and the Army in Nepal when we are so much humiliated inside and outside of the country?.
Who will save us ?.

Condolences To France

Maurice Herzog is no more.Long live Maurice Herzog, a man who first brought Nepal to the picture of world mountaineering even before Hillary who conquered Mount Everest.
Maurice Herzog conquered Mount Annapurna,above 8000 meter on 3 June 1950.A time when there was nothing like facility for this job.Annapurna victory was a history in the world scaling over 8000 mt mountain.In doing so Maurice lost his fingers of hands and feet. It is he who opened the challenge to the world mountaineers to look ahead accept the adversity for the benefits of human beings.
I met this noble man  at the bottom of Mt Alps,Chamounix,where first 8000 mt.over mountaineers were gathered for the summit.That time I was acting ambassador of our country in France and in that capacity I met him.I found the tremendous love,affection,and feelings for Nepal in his bottom of heart.He had done a great service to that Annapurna mountain area and range ,and as a result of that toda,Annapurna trekking is so much famous ,and earning for the livelihood of Nepalese of that area.
I salute for his love to our motherland.Nepal.
Nepalese will ever be grateful to Maurice Herzog.

Homage to Pandit Ravi Shanker

Pandit Ravi Shanker died  leaving a huge vacuum in the world of music.I great loss to the natural bonds which was integrated  with the rhythm of insanity of winds,recklessness of waves and purity of snow on the top of mountains.Life was felt in his creations-and life was inspired in his presentation-and life was accepted as allegiance in his musical meditation.
A solemn dedication to his thoughts, a natural behaviour of music, could be a true gratitude to him, and true tribute to him. By doing this only the new philosophy of music can be resuscitated.
Our NAMAN to this great son of Mata Sarswati.

Indictment on Forehead of Men

The barbarian behaviour and heinous act done to Shiva Hasmi  resulted to her death is a unpardonable crime committed.Whosoever has done this act must be severely punished to the maximum.This is an indictment on the forehead of humanity.All we men should fight with women against it.

Protocol Is Most Important

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr Narayan Kaji Sreshtha yesterday revealed with a fact that he has become helpless and dumb because  the top leaders are not following the ethics of politics ,and going against the interests of the nation, inviting foreign power in between.
And thus, he wishes to quit the politics.In first point ,I intend to agree with him-because this government has touched down the lowest ebb in the moral ground.Govt lost all moral ground to exist.
But what I do not agree with Mr Sreshtha is that he should rather raise his voice against the wrong deeds than giving up it cowardly.I had  in my previous writings criticized him for his non reactionary behaviors, but today, I am happy that he opened his mouth.
We all have the same quandary- We are with you Mr Sreshtha in all national interests.Here what I suggest you- Fight Back.
Respect of nation is above all.

Imposing Emergency In The Country

There is a news that in the talk between the President and the Prime Minister,  there was somebody unauthorized outside element ?.We often say this is not in order ! I ask what is in order that we are looking and singling out someone act out of order?.
From good governance point of view country is already collapsed and she needs emergency treatment.Nothing else would be better treatment for this moment to the nation than an imposition of Emergency.Delay means more loss to the motherland.We donot have to take permission from anybody for doing so, rather we have to show them that whatever we have done that is in the greater interest of the country.

Tribute to Late I.K.Gujaral,Former Prime Minister of India

Former Prime Minister of India I.K.Gujral passed away,We are socked and bereaved by this news.It is an irreparable loss for both India and Nepal.He was a very loving leader who loved Nepal with more than his capacity.We Nepali are ever grateful for his contributions offered in solidifying the bonds of friendship between Nepal and India.
I am the testimony of his generosity for Nepal.I brought him in the state visit to Nepal. That time, I was acting ambassador in the Nepalese Embassy  at Delhi.I know how all were not very much agreeing with him for his attitude towards Nepal with respect to his  doctrine of Non-reciprocity.But he was a man of conviction, and had a clear vision, that a country like Nepal must enjoy this gesture by a capable country like India. India had and has its own problems, even though ,he thought it is its moral duty to support Nepal in all difficult times.And he did.
Doctrine of Non reciprocity,and,route granted from Fulwari to Bangladesh was not a joke or easy decision to take.India was afraid that time with Puraulia arm drops.But even in the midst of that it was a very sensitive gift given to Nepal by India, keeping risk for its own.But he did.We can't  forget his love and affections for Nepal.
I am very honored that that time that I was heading the Nepali Embassy, and all happened during my tenure.He had many times talked with me about this personally,ask many things regarding the wishes of people and real needs of the country.He was also aware of the fact about the Indian media comments that time, but what I can't forget during that time what he said -  a leader is he who sees that  is not seen by others.
Perhaps he wanted to underline that Nepal - Indian Relations can be compared with any other relations.
OUR RESPECTFUL HOMAGE TO HIM,MAY HIS DEPARTED SOUL REST IN PEACE.

Palestine State -a Wise Decision

Palestine State has been  de facto recognized  by the United Nations General Assembly with a majority votes.Some were absent and some were against.It is natural.But the work which has been accomplished is a milestone and remarkable,It is a historic decision in the annals of the world history.Tomorrow it will be proved that whatever decision taken for this, to resolve the stalemate, is a bold and courageous act.It is a far sighted decision and will reasonably  impact on the peace process of the middle east .USA and Israel including Arab world must show a wisdom this time to grab the opportunity of peace prevailed in the horizon.Best of Luck to all.

President Obama's Reconciliation Theory

President Obama, today, while addressing the university students in Myanmar, rightly suggested to the politicians that in the place of confrontation there would be reconciliation a correct answer between the rivals.Very correct advice forwarded by him to the foreigner.I wish he could  advice same way the Israeli and Palestinian, to reconcile the past enmities. This would be only a viable reply to the horrifying situation in the middle east.
Killings,violence,rockets and Iron Dome can not be the answer to the hatred situation.It needs love ,compassion and understanding and feelings of the pain of others. How 10 members of a family have been killed for no fault?
I hope, President Obama is honest in his statement, and follow the same reconciliation method in the middle east , and solve the long standing problem of enmity for ever. He is  coincidentally in a Buddhist country, who believes and practice love and compassion- may Lord Buddha bestowed some rays of compassion to the mightiest president so that for some time his views be changed in love and compassion.Love is only the reply of Hate.
Muscle can never be the answer of violence. It would be temporary,after sometime they will rise up, and you may have to pay more.I suggest not to invite catastrophe-everybody will suffer from this evil effects.Apply reconciliation theory (which is in Buddhist term a compassion theory )in the middle east.
May Peace prevail everywhere.

Please do not disturb the devotees of CHHATH

We wish to express  our best wishes on the happy occasion of  CHHATH POOJA to all devotees.
May CHHATH mata and SURYA NARAYAN  bless us with peace and prosperity.

On this occasion, I also wish to communicate my opinion about the unhealthy competition of political leaders by going to CHHAT ,and delivering political speech with a great noise,It is not permissible.Please understand that devotees are there to pray and wish for their near and dear, and for the country.By miking lecture there  disturbs  very much -this fact ,please realize.It is never appreciated by the people rather back fire, and has bad impact about the leaders.
If the leaders  really love the pooja and the devotees, then just go there, and say I also pray and wish for well beings of Nepali.No third line.This is enough.If you remember -recollect how terrifying speeches are delivered ,and  how much spoiled the whole religious atmosphere. ?
Can our politicians understand this ,and behave responsibly?.Please do not take otherwise.

Physical Assult Is Not Permissible

Physical assault  to anyone can never be justified.It is uncivilized  and barbarian act.For expressing displeasure with any political leader,there are many legal ways including street and ballot.The increasing number of attacks on the leaders are certainly a bad omen in the political arena.All should keep restrain and refrain from this lunatic behavior.It must not be permissible.
Punishment to the leaders  is  defeat in the election , and other  legal treatments.
At the same time ,leaders should also self analyse as to what is wrong with him , and correct accordingly, so that they must be dearer to the people.

State Capture

If  you wish to stay in illusion - so it be -but fact is  that  it is already State Captured.
Suggestion is - don't remain in mirage.Try to understand the reality.This unwanted act is growing slowly, and the concerned are still careless.They think it has yet to appear in the future, which is not true. It has already taken its root albeit weak- if you are worry against it then it is time to wake up.The grand design seems on the ground ,and gradually making its grip stronger.Perhaps you may not have time to react- better woke up from the dream.
Dream is dream.

Tragedy on Nation's Servant

Human beings have certain values, and if we degrade from that point, then there is no difference between human and animal.We ought not be ungrateful to the nation and vice versa.Unfortunately ,both characters are seen in the national scene.
Dr Chitra Wagle, a medical doctor, has been suffering from cancer-a man who has dedicated his life for the service of nation and sick persons-today himself is helpless looking for service to save his life.
This is very painful scenario-think - who will be ready to serve nation in ,remote places, and sick person with compassion, when his/her life is threatened? and country is not feeling any responsibility towards the nation's servant wel beings? Shame on us-the responsible -who is self centered.
This is the charterer of decay of country.Let us take it as warning.It wary us.

Sovereign People of Nepal

People of Nepal is sovereign ,and thus ,let them decide what they want?. Not we impose on them our wishes that we have been doing and advocating for democracy and freedom of choice?.
Are we  really  honest in our behaviour?.Country is in grave crisis - no further joke should be allowed with the nation.
I do hope, this time people will realize their mistakes ,and do the best selection for the stability, peace, and progress of the nation. If someone is coming on this way of peace-we must wipe them out for generations.
